State Enterprise Vodohospodárska výstavba actively celebrates World Earth Day, which is celebrated annually on 22 April. On this occasion, it participates in various activities aimed at the protection of the environment and raising awareness of its importance.
On the 25th of April 2024, on the occasion of the Earth Day, an educational excursion for pupils of the 2nd grade of primary schools was held in the Information Centre of the Gabčíkovo Water Works. In addition to receiving interesting information about the importance of Earth Day, the use of waterways, ongoing projects of the enterprise and renewable energy sources, the pupils also took part in an educational excursion to the Gabčíkovo Waterworks and its upgraded lock chambers.
