Within the 17th year of the largest science festival in Slovakia “European Researchers Night” we, VODOHOSPODÁRSKA VÝSTAVBA, STATE ENTERPRISE participated in this event on 29 September. We also presented the project “Upgrade of Gabčíkovo locks” to the participants of the festival. Especially high school and gymnasium students were interested in our lock chambers, their life and interesting facts from the implementation of innovation and modernization. We were pleased that in such a large space and an even larger range of various interesting areas of science and water, visitors took the time and showed interest in science, which is often closely related to the lock chambers and their function and operation.
