Environmental project of water managers also about modernization and innovation of the Gabčíkovo Waterworks locks

During the summer holidays, the water managers from the state owned enterprise VODOHOSPODÁRSKA VÝSTAVBA, š. p., also presented the participants of the Environmental Education Project information on international shipping on the Danube and the importance of the current innovation and modernization of the Gabčíkovo Waterworks locks (Upgrade of Gabčíkovo locks project). The program of the environmental event, which was intended for children from 6 to 15 years of age, took place mainly at the Gabčíkovo stage, which consists mainly of a Hydroelectric power plant and lock chambers.
