Despite the fact that the construction works on the locks have been completed and we are approaching the final stage, which is the final approval and the start of the Left lock into full operation, we would like to take you through some of the parts, moments, stories and hard work behind the modernization of the locks.
This mini series will start with the history of the creation, building and construction of the Gabčíkovo Waterworks. Many of you will know it, many will see it for the first time. We remember with respect the people who designed and built this place.
The construction of the Gabčíkovo Waterworks is associated with different reactions, difficulties, opinions, problems and solutions, but in any case it is a beautiful, unique construction that has its own meaning.
